Our horses
Our exceptional horses are the fruit of our deep-rooted passion for equine breeding, and our constant search for the best crosses. Each member of our dedicated team works in harmony with our precious broodmares to ensure the well-being of our boarders. At Hunter Valley, we firmly believe that this harmony is essential to the success of our exceptional horses.
Our team
A remarkable team of over 35 people work tirelessly to shape the destiny of our racehorses. Whether it’s our groomers, our experienced trainers, our geneticists or those who ensure the daily upkeep of the stud farm, each of them plays a key role in our quest for equine excellence. They join forces to create a unique environment where each horse is raised with love, care and unrivalled mastery.

Always at the forefront of innovation, the stable created Fiberracing, a range of nutrition products made entirely from fiber, specially designed for horses.

Krack Time Atout, Part de Rêve foal, wins his first Group I with the Criterium des 3 ans at Vincennes
2020
Birth of the K generation foals, the result of the stable’s first exceptional crosses (King Opera, Kobayashi…).
2019
Matthieu Millet becomes the owner of the Haras de la Perrière and founds the Hunter Valley stable.
2018
Acquisition of Hunter Valley, daughter of Charly du Noyer and Reethi Rah Jet, a full sister to the crack Bold Eagle.

Jazzy Perrine
Jazzy Perrine is a daughter of Django Riff and Trendy Perrine. This filly with her distinctive Rouan coat was the leader of her generation among females aged 2 and 3, winning 5 Group 2s and coming second in the Critérium des jeunes-Prix Comte Pierre de Montesson 2022.
She currently has €580,090 in earnings (11/11/23) and continues to make her mark internationally, winning the Prix Jab – Delicious Lopp (Gr.2) over 1640m on May 28, 2023 at Solvalla racecourse in Sweden. (review the race).
This mare is the spearhead of the Hunter Valley stable.
Kamehameha
Kamehameha is a cross between Uniclove and Vivolta jet and has €231,050 in earnings (11/11/23).
This colt, who will ride in 2024, came second in the Critérium des Jeunes (Gr.1) held on February 19, 2023, setting an exceptional record (1’12″9) at 3 years of age!
The Hunter Valley stable is already one of the TOP 10 breeders in just 4 years of existence and from its very first production.
King Opera
King Opera is a son of Ready Cash and Unlimited Jet, bred by the Hunter Valley stable and sold as a foal.
In just 15 outings, he has won 5 times and amassed no less than €276,750 in winnings!
This very regular colt comes from a very lively family, as he is, among others, a brother to the good Jessie Jet (Love You). This magnificent black horse has a Gr.2 win and a Gr.3 win to his credit, as well as a second place in the Gr.1 Critérium des 3 ans behind our protégé “PART DE RÊVE”, Krack Time Atout.
Kana de Beylev
Kana de Beylev is a daughter of our stallion Express Jet and Dina de Beylev. This filly bred by Ecurie du Haras de L’EPINAY is the fruit of an option with the Hunter Valley stable.
Sold in October 2022 when she had a bank account worth €42,000 (3 races – 2 wins – 1 second place), she has continued to climb the ranks and now has €446,600 in earnings (11/11/23)!
In 17 outings, she has won 7 times, demonstrating our determination to sell very good horses!
